The movie is very good, the cinematography is wonderful and very accurate in its portrayal. The Theological perspective of the movie makes use of some outdated thinking, for example the thought that Mary Magdalene was a "woman of the street" which has been abandoned even by the catholic church for years. The most current interpretation was that Mary Magdalene was a business woman that supported the ministry of Yeshua of Nazareth for years. I did like the use of the hebrew name for Jesus.

Historical facts were not realistic. Guards would not have fallen asleep... minor detail. Compeling and plausable. Overall a very good movie. Thank you for the passes. Juanita

4 stars. I really enjoyed how they show Jesus resurrection from a non believer's point of view. How you see something you don't believe in unfold right before your eyes. How do you take it all in.

Very epic-like from the Bible stories of old. I especially liked Joseph Fiennes performance as the Roman. A fine companion piece to Passion of the Christ showing a very loving Jesus.
