It was a very good premise and a semi original idea. It could have been developed more to avoid the cliches. The main characters reactions to his experience on Earth could have been more authentic. Could have been surprised and fascinated and that Goofy or going for that easy laugh. The government chase scene needs to stop. That's practically in every movie. Gary Oldman need to bring it down just a notch, so we could have more sympathy for him and not want to drown him. All in all if this scriptwas made a little tighter, use originality and not formula it would have been great

The end didn't justify the means. Started out as a drama, then turned to romance. After falling in love, camping in woods, running around all over romantic sites, finally professing his love for her and how she made him human , etc., he left earth and her in a jiffy! Since movie sold me on the love and romance, then should've played out Gardner's departure much more sadly and tearfully. Wished it was more like Ghost ending when Swayze left a teary Molly to return to heaven. Needed More tear jerking at ending to justify and qualify their love.
