Storyline was confusing at times and the ending did not make much sense. Scene cuts and camera angles were pretty poor and some of the language /lines were extremely corny.

"Boogie" was underwhelming. The film has many strong points. The mid-point montage sequence, pacing, and the comedic elements were pulled off very well. However, there are persistent questionable cinematography and editing decisions that detract from the heart of film. Additionally, the 2nd half of the climatic game felt empty with the soundtrack coming in too late to save the triumphant scene. The decision to equate Boogie and Eleanor's relationship to Mr. and Mrs. Chin's relationship came out of left field. The Chins were both abusive whereas Eleanor had done nothing wrong the whole film.
