It was good but sad ending

well written/acted/directed

Terrific performance by Carey Mulligan. Alfred Molina's performance was also very good. However those two were the only solid performances. Rest of cast could be replaceable. Carey Mulligan will be remembered for this role.

The story was very well constructed. Taking the audience on a great ride in capturing the lead character's mental anguish at the death of her best friend and how she deals with it. Especially how it envelopes her whole life.
