I thought it had a really positive message that good things happen to you because of confidence not necessarily looks. That we should all be a little easier on our selves.

Very good movie and has your typical movie layout (Beginning (story unfold), middle ( star encounters problems and self destructs), and end ( self discovery and happy ending)! Standard Hollywood formulaNow it won’t go down as a comedy classic but a standard entry for Amy in her IMDB listing. The movie had some great moments as you’d expect from a comedian, but i think as a HUGE MOVIE FAN.. the predictability took away from the overall feel. Maybe when the self destruct phase happens in the 2nd part infuse clever humor as we are here for an escape and want to see a little more thought (see Stir Crazy with Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder for a perfect example of that suggestion. Maybe it’s a cookie cutter approach but if Amy wants a classic ... step outside of the norm with her movies like she has with her standup career that brought her to this point in her career!

Funny and smart! Cleverly done; it gives a great message about self-esteem and real women without being preachy! Loved it!
