I loved the visual effects of this movie! For that reason alone I rate this movie at 5 stars. It had an interesting plot and would be very suitable for kids. Actually, this movie should be a big hit with kids. I would definitely see this in 3-D! It had the best 3-D I've ever seen in a movie!

The movie was very entertaining. The colors and imagery were beautiful. The aliens design was better than I expected.

The visuals were amazing and I haven't seen 3D used so perfectly before. The opening sequence explaining the origins of Alpha single handidly gave me hope in the human race. I would say this is Luc Bessons best work.
