It’s a good movie to see, if you are into this type of movie. I didn’t realize before hand that it was a musical which added another layer to the movie.

Just what I expected. High School girls movie

I really wanted to like this and there were moments when I did, but in the end there was more bad than good moments. The songs seemed forced and at times the scenes were just over the top - taking away from the emotions of the movie - not adding to it. It felt like the heart of the original was missing from this version.

Better than I expected. Didn't know it was a musical. Singing was good.
