The first half was not Halloween. It tried to pay tribute by using music and fonts and flash backs. Then it turned into Scary Movie. Which is not Halloween. Before transforming into some misguided boys quest for power that doesn’t end well before getting back to the purpose of the movie itself. Most of Michael’s scenes are pathetic. A 3 script mashup was not the answer to this Icon. Blumhouse sad.

Overall, the movie was just “ok”. Especially in comparison to the previous Halloween movies. I was not a fan of the first half-2/3 of the movie. The plot for that section of the movie just felt forced and unlike the usual Halloween plot that has been a classic part of the franchise. It wasn’t until the end that I felt like it was a true “Halloween” movie.

It was scary like I expected -well done ! I do expect thatAllison will be pregnant with Corey's baby and the boogeyman will be presented as a bogey-baby in a future movie release. !!

It was a good movie but it started out pretty slow and it didn’t get to the story you where waiting for till the the end but the killings were excellent everything you expected in this movie
