The film does a great job in keeping you invested on what the mysterious force is but the reveal was a bit of a let down. The setting works perfectly for the plot and suspense scenes. Keke Palmer seems like the stand out. Daniel Kaluuya seemed emotionless and lacking expressions. Nope was a fun time for the most part until the end where the reveal might seem a bit ridiculous to some folks.

It was an okay film. I was confused most of the time. I’m not sure why the monkey scene was relevant to the story. It was just odd but I can appreciate the humor along the way.

The movie was good, but not great. I was really hoping this would be as good, if not better, than Get Out or Us. While the acting was great, there just seemed to be something missing. Not to mention the alien when fully revealed looked like a sail or sheet. Just my opinion!
