Good entertaining film with a great cast and great scenery.\rLots of action and Jidie Comer is excellent in her role..this film depicts what life was like in early France and NOT ideal for women then.\rGood film.\rRecommended!!

It's a tough watch. The scenery and authenticity is amazing, because that is what Ridley Scott does. The story is broken into three parts, basically the POV of Matt Damon, Adam Driver, and lastly Jodie Comer. Which means you have to watch some really tough scenes more than one time. Worth seeing once, but I would not watch it again. Ever.

Classic Ridley film, leaves you questioning the final truth. Aside from the Ridley factor, the movie was lacking substance. The performances by the actors was average at best. Acting should be believable eventhough we know its a movie and not real, I did not get that feeling from any of the performances.

Just an ok movie. The rape scenes were disturbing and to watch it 3 times was too much. Great acting by the cast.
