I already knew that these two actors were amazing, but they worked together so well in the movie. It was heartfelt and moving the amount of strength and endurance above all that she showed despite being stranded at sea for 40+ days. The ending made me cry, but it was such a beautiful movie! My boyfriend and I are very happy with this movie! 5 stars!

I really enjoyed this movie. It took me on an emotional roller coaster ride and hit me in all the feels. Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin were amazing. The story was presented in such an engaging way, and I loved the mix of danger, humor, and innocence. Tami is a badass, incredible female lead character and Richard is so easy to fall for. The story is pretty simple but the movie does an amazing job of bringing us into the small moments that make up the bigger picture. The cinematography was great, the story was emotionally enthralling, and the acting was excellent. I am so happy that I had a chance to see the movie before there was much discussion about it because I went in completely blind. I didn't see it coming (you know what I mean) and my heart, oh my heart. I know I'll be thinking about this movie long after tonight.
