It wasn’t really for kids. Story line was too complex. The scenes in the trailer of gnomekini that the kids wanted to see weren’t there.

Cute film. Since I believe garden gnomes are much more popular in Europe than in America, animated features about garden gnomes are Europe's version of Toy Story. Their garden gnomes are anthropomorphic lucky charms, like in Toy Story toys are alive with human qualities. 2 minor complaints: gargoyles don't look evil or sinister enough; Genius(?) Moriarty did NOT send 1 gargoyle to kill Watson.

It was cute and amusing, with a great soundtrack. Some of the humor was a little crass for a kids movie, but not too much. My daughter and I really enjoyed it! I also loved that it stands well on its own. I've never seen the first movie in its entirety, and I had no problem following along.
