Entertaining mindless summer action film.

It was what I expected. Nothing special but a dumb fun summer movie. The movie knows what kind of movie it is and that’s fine.

The Meg is a fun summer movie about a 75 foot prehistoric shark that terrorizes an underwater research facility. Jason Statham plays a rescue driver who fights the shark. Rainn Wilson is the billionaire who finances the research. Most of the blood and gore has been cut to keep the PG 13 rating so it is not that scary.

Good movie, funny, thriller. Wish it wasn’t as predictable but pretty good movie!
