The acting was great but the pace of the movie was too slow. It didn't help that many of the jokes fell flat because I saw them during the previews. I thought the movie would take a creative license and delve into why she wanted to sing, or how she influenced others better or worse. Unfortunately it was like watching a training I montage.

We thought the acting and story was great, but not my kind of a movie.

It was entertaining. I would probably say this is a movie that I would recommend to wait until it is on Netflix to watch. Cute but not a must see.

It was good. She was a good person but nit so much as a singer!
