The idea of Nicolas Cage playing himself got old after a while. Feel apart in the 3rd act in the scenes where he saves his kidnapped daughter

I don't think the marketing matched the actual tone and pace of the movie. Although it was a "comedy," I didn't find it that "fun." I think if the expectations were set differently at the start, I could have appreciated the movie more.

It did not keep my attention, several people around me were sleeping.

Aside of the fun poked at "Nick cage" from his personal life, the story was all over the place. Dialogue was lengthy, characters were just thrown atbyou and under developed. Yes, it's meant as a satire, but the movie fascination concept will go over the public's head.
