I liked the acting, but the screenplay was predictable. I don’t think we needed so many flashbacks. We need to let her pain play out before we know why she’s there. We knew the minute she looked at pictures and then the first flashback.

Interesting story from a "back to nature" perspective. Otherwise, I'm not sure what the message is supposed to be. Ordinary people experience great tragedy and heartbreak in the course of their lives and manage to move on. This story, however, wants us to sympathize/empathize with someone who has the resources and self-indulgent tendencies of the wealthy, elitist upper class. Sorry, I do not.\r\rNicely photographed, Good acting. \r\r

Beautifully conceived, executed and acted film. I was moved by the death of Miguel. The shot from the ext. of the home looking through the window as the family was dropping to their knees with raised hands. The perfection of the ending of one life and beginning of another cascaded in and filled my eyes with tears. Highly recommend the film for my generation (born in 1967) of parents in urban areas, crossing over to rural audiences of all shapes and sizes. I wish I could have seen the picture in a theater. The scale of human experience lensed through these lead characters is larger than life.
