Interesting story, with culture and family, but not sure about the basketball recruiting part

3 1/2 stars Well done film about a basically an unsympathetic character with few redeeming qualities who is "rescued" at the 25th hour by a dawning sense of teamwork. Give the dysfunctional family of origin I found it sadly unlikely
