For the most part, I thought this movie was well done. The telling of the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ from the point of view of the Roman guard gave a different perspective, and the acting by Joseph Fiennes was excellent. Some of the other acting, not so much. Though this definitely is considered a religious-based movie, the way that the script depicts the search for not only the missing body of Christ, but also for the Roman guard after he takes up with the disciples is compelling

The way the story is made, with the point of view of a not believer, brings a new concept and an emotional feelings, that is worth to see it. I recommend this movie.

The movie was great! I enjoyed aspect of the movie from beginning to the end.

Loved the unique perspective on these events. It's fairly difficult to make a film based on the life of Jesus that isn't completely predictable (for obvious reasons). While I knew what was going to happen, seeing everything through the eye's of the Tribune was very enjoyable.
