IT is such a classic horror story, and this film does an excellent job of bringing the story to life on screen. The child actors had great chemistry, and Finn Wolfhard and the actress who played Bev were standouts. I do wish the monster direction had been a little more varied though, as all of them seemed to share a similar shaky movement style as well as overall design.

It's always difficult to capture Stephen King's great detailed writing in a film, but this was definitely one of the better ones from his novels. It was scarier & creepier than the mini-series from years ago. It follows the book well. You could feel the kids' bond and friendship. Bill Skarsgard played a very eerie and evil Pennywise. This will be a great film for this Halloween season.

I did not see the original 1990 Film. But as a remake I feel the director did a pretty great job. The movie was not as scary as I thought it would be. And the dialogue had some great humor.

Strangely enough, I believe this is a great film for family or children. Amazing work of young actors. Well done effects.
