Heart warming story! Shows the difficulties persons with disabilities deal with every day. Shows that they are people just like you but just can't hear.\rA hearing child born into a deaf family has so much to deal with often with little support from others. One person can make a difference! \rSo glad that this movie was made. It will make people think about how they react to someone challenge

Such a powerful insight into the deaf v. hearing community. These are issues most people never think about. The characters and story were both compelling- a definite feel-good movie at a time when we need to feel good. I wept at the end. I'm fluent in sign-language, was a college admissions counselor and just ordered a Joni Mitchell t-shirt as she's my favorite all-time musician- you got me!

It was wonderful! It really puts hearing people into an environment that they can get a minor sense of what it's like to be deaf. How to deal with the world around them and how many things still need to be done for the deaf community to be included. It's a very eye-opening, thoughtful, touching movie all around. Beautiful.

A heartwarming (family) movie. You don't have to be deaf to enjoy this film. But, the pure fun of the "lines" the deaf actors use, really makes it!
