"Nope" is a good movie that gets better with time. It is unique in the way that it gives the audience delayed satisfaction. I enjoyed the movie as I was watched it, but I enjoyed it more afterwards discussing it with another person. Director Jordan Peel's concept was great and very ambitious, but it just didn't translate on the screen well. Good story structure, but with too many deep themes.

I thought the movie was fun but lacked connectivity and horror. Or maybe I'm just not smart enough to connect the dots. For example, the story about the monkey, although the story was good I am missing the point of it outside it being a backstory for one of the characters. Also, I didnt see it as a horror movie because the level of comedy in it.

It was good, but I think I need to read the book - if there is one - to understand what was going on - probably just me...

Loved the build up to the middle of the movie but after they shown the ufo it went downhill. Went from like scary thriller to fantasy and it lost me
