"The Watchers" feels like two separate films: one a supernatural horror, the other a dark fairy tale. While each is compelling, they fail to meld as one whole. Despite this, the film offers a fun and engaging story worth watching. I wish the watchers were not revealed as much so they could maintain their sinister aura. The sound design could have also used more silence. The music overpowers the presence of the watchers at times. I would prefer an unnervingly quiet forest as we hear them approaching. Overall, while "The Watchers" has its flaws, its intriguing story makes it worth a watch.
