It was slow, boring, and weird! Didn’t like the flow of it. The acting was good.

I thought the acting by the 2 young women was great but the story line left much to be desired.

Too "dark" for me with the violent killing of the horse.

Thoroughbreds over-promises and under-delivers. It makes a half-hearted attempt to be a dark comedy, but loses sight of that goal after a few scenes. Instead, it offers banal observations posing as commentary on the human condition. The emotionless sociopath is the closest thing to a "good person" in the film, while the other characters, with all the gifts of human emotion and morality, refuse to face their faults and manage only to harm one another. That's it. That's the movie: emotions are bad.
