This film is very intense. Amazing acting. Very well told storyline. Received a front row seat in History. This film tells a story of the History that ALL Americans are living today.

It was an amazing insight on what occurred in Detroit. I have to say that I've never heard about the Detroit riot let alone the killing & beatings of the African Americans at the Algier Motel. It was sad to see the hatred displayed by racist law enforcement officers whom were sworn to PROTECT & SERVE the community, not execute & destroy. I'm glad I've seen the film!

This movie left me absolutely heartbroken. I couldn't drive home because I was sobbing so bad at how ugly racism is. I've never been a person to see color or discriminate because of one's color. I've always accepted people for who they are. Some of the comments being made walking out of the theater were horrible, hateful and uncalled for. We have to forgive one another and move forward.
