I loved it. It was very touching, and both lead actors performances We're great.

Lovely and touching story and much needed. Also wonderful to see how a powerful woman showed respect for a different culture and opened herself to learn about a completely different culture under her rule and is a great reminder to all of us. Also that platonic love between a man and a woman with such a huge age/class and cultural difference did not stand in their way. Was quite funny at times as well. Absolutely loved it. Thank you!

Fabulous period movie. Beautiful scenery and costumes. The acting was superb.

Very enjoyable - I love Judy Dench especially. It was based on a factual account - historical. Shows how all people have the same desires and natures.
