absolutely fantastic. Scared out my wits when she tried to help the baby elephant and big momma didn't understand what she was doing. Horrified at the bombing of the zoo.Scared but proud of the way they both tried to save the Jews of Warsaw. When it looked like her husband had been killed by the nazi's I cried. Stayed until the bitter end to see where it had been filmed...

Jessica Chastain's performance was absolutely incredible. The movie drew a clear picture of life during WWII.

The Zookeepers Wife was a perfect 10! The acting was superb and carried you through the ups and downs during this treacherous time in Warsaw Poland. Well worth seeing,

A beautifully made movie based on a true story with inspiring events on how some people can make a difference risking their lives for others in times of inhumanity,cruelty, & persecution. Jessica Chastain (also the producer), Johan Heldenbergh, Daniel Bruhl, Michael McElhatton, Shira Haas et al give stellar performances. Gut-wrenching. Profoundly moving. The audience applauded after the premiere.
