Enjoyed the movie thought this would be out for easter.

the cinematography was beautiful. I felt the weight of the years the priests endured in their journey because because of the movie's slow pace. I felt their burdens through the screen. I was able to experience both Buddhist and Catholic points of view, even through the brutality depicted. Maybe even because of the brutality depicted. Excellent job, Mr. Scorsese.

Very interesting movie, I liked the storyline and feel that I learned a lot!

I thought it was breathtaking and cinematically it was like a Caravaggio painting.
