This movie was absolutely breathtaking!!!! Denzel Washington and Viola Davis both, played phenomenal roles. This movie shows the love, trials and constraints a family experiences to sacrifice and stay together. Best picture of the year!!!!!!! I'm surely ready to see it again!

The movie was excellent I really enjoyed Denzel&Viola; characters. It was so realistic great movie

Convincing acting, beautiful recreations of 1950s America, and well-crafted dialogue--faithful to the original. Only criticism: it opens with Troy and Bono talking at work instead of on Troy's porch, where every Friday they share a couple of beers while shooting the breeze. And they drink straight from a gin bottle, which dilutes the symbolism of when Troy--alone--later turns to hard liquor.

This movie was absolutely wonderful. The acting, the symbolism... What a powerful story! Everyone needs to see it. I hope this film wins every possible award.
