I found it a bit bloodless, as in cold blooded, as in lacking in emotion, but that was also what I liked about it. It had this sombre, low key tension, and was stylish and time period accurate, and you felt the characters were doing their ethical best even though a changing world had trapped them in an unethical landscape.

good old time action

Good show, very realistic depiction of crime in New York in that time period 80's). Mainly unknown actors, but really well-played. Not a violent film overall, despite the title. Satisfying.
