The cinematography was great. The art deco was great. It was suspenseful. The plot did not lead you to an easy prediction so it keeps you interested and guessing. There was a proper amount of foreshadowing, but not heavy handed. The actors were very very good. The ending was 15 seconds too long. It should have ended with the character saying "It's only a temporary job." The laughing was not needed

Very well directed, entertaining but a bit too long. It is a remake of the classic movie and it is faithful to the original material. Bradley Cooper is excellent.

Cinematography and editing were mostly invisible, and I mean that in a good way. Screenplay kept me invested the whole time. Del Toro did a great job directing, most of the cast did great. Bradley Cooper falls a bit flat for me in some areas, but at some points it seems intentional. The supporting cast does a bit better than Cooper, I was much more intereseted in Rooney Mara and Willem Dafoe.
