Such a fun movie going experience. It's a fresh take on the other films, using a family rather than a friendship group, but it delivers on humour, set pieces, comedy and gore. Highly creative. And has just the right nods to the previous films in the franchise, without pandering. Very good.

The film brings the fan service in a cool and clever way, and Tony Todd’s return is a total standout; his lines are borderline legendary. The writing and cast really make you care about the group, which makes the tension hit even harder when death comes knocking. But let’s be real, the carnage is the star of the show. The body count is wild, and it feels like they really went all out this time. The CGI, makeup, and effects look awesome, definitely a major upgrade from some of the last installments.
