Captivating. Timely and refreshing.

Despite its cool editing and dance moves, as a movie audience's perspective, it didn't "move" me. Pun intended. Most things, if not everything, was very predictable. Cliche high school bullies and rebellious teenagers. Some scenes were odd--and not in an artistic way. I didn't feel connected to any character.Overall, instead of "stepping up," I felt more like "stepping out" of the theatre.
