Amusing Entertaining,good acting but not really my cup of tea

perfectly casted and very touching. great attention to details of the period.

The acting was skillful, while the directing was not.

This is an endearing, quirky movie. The story, if it weren't true, would seem rather unbelievable, contrived & hokey. The devotion that St. Clair & Florence have for each other is sweet & complicated. Meryl Street is so good at being bad. Her performance was outstanding. Hugh Grant plays St. Clair with compassion & zest. Simon Helberg's McMoon adds much needed comic relief.
