Funny at times.

It's exactly what I expected it to be. Fun, self-aware/referential, intentionally formulaic. Evn though I could see the jokes coming, I still laughed. Definitely worth seeing.

Funny…worth seeing. Makes you want to go back and watch every movie Nicholas Cage ever made.

The film is a great concept with Cage giving his all and some funny set pieces (the scene with him and Pascal climbing a wall is an instant classic), but the film ultimately becomes what it is trying to parody, and it is not nearly as creatively bizarre as a Charlie Kaufman film, oddly enough like Adaptation that also starred Cage.
