Such a spectacular movie! The colors, the emotion, the music, the representation, and the love were all there. It was impossible to not smile or not cry at those certain points in the movie because everything was so real and so akin to what does/could/can happen in reality! I love this movie and would recommend it to everyone to watch. A master-piece!

Made me cry before the title even showed. This is really an amazing movie that gives an outside viewer an inside look into the community. Very heartwarming and emotional the entire time, I am familiar with the story and I will say that this movie does justice to the stage performance and enhances instead of taking away from the experience.

I loved watching In The Heights! It exceeded all my expectations. I was captivated the whole time, and everything just made so much sense. Musically it flowed so well and added to the storyline. I think all the main points, songs, and lyrics are consistent with the musical, but certain things are changed so that anyone can understand and follow without knowing anything before watching the film.

It was such a good adaptation of the musical. It felt so real. Loved it.
