I would say that while this movie had a "Stand by Me" feel to it which I liked, it was still lacking in a depth of plot. It's more of a teenage angst story than anything. The characters are decidedly a little flat. I wanted to read it like a good book I couldn't put down, but it didn't keep my full attention. I think alot of people will like it for its campy feel .
