I enjoyed it. It has some great action scenes it it. Alicia Vikander as Laura Croft exemplified great physicality, strength and beauty .

Finally after so many decades this was the first decent video game turned movie. I still feel it should have been a bit darker and had gone to the supernatural side like the games though.

Tomb Raider was a fun movie. It kept us engaged and we had the feeling of wanting to know what was happening next. The action scenes were realistic especially the water scenes. If it was CGI'd we could not tell. There was alot of character building but not much backstory. This left it open ended to a sequel. The movie definitely left me wanting more in a good way.

It was a “just right” movie. There were scenes that were reminiscent of the video game and there were scenes that didn’t exaggerate the fact that she is human (doing super jumps) until the end of the movie. However, one downside was that sometimes the edits were a little too short for my brain to process what was going on. Some of the images were also slightly blurry. Overall, it was a good movie.
