I thought the film was well-produced with touchng performances by the lead actors eapecially the main role, Gardner. Some of the story details seemed far-fetched, such as the teenage girl's ability to do almost anything--steal cars, fly airplanes, take the lead in everything they did. However, it was an interesting film overall and I enjoyed watching the story unfold.

I thought it was charming. Nice fantasy, but not so far fetched that it couldn't really happen some day :) Lovely kiddos.

Teenage romance...light hearted, thought provoking simplicity that was exactly what I needed to prompt an emotional release.

This would be a great family movie ( if not for 16 year olds having sex). I liked it more than I thought I would. It's science fiction, so just pretend we really could colonized Mars in 2018. Nice to know Earth is pretty much the same 16 years into the future when the boy who is not suppose to return to Earth does. It's a boy meets angst-filled girl, fall in love story. Happily ever after? Maybe in the future.
