Emotional film on the plight of facing a devastating challenge in one’s life.

The ending was disappointing, expected Ruben to stay at school or go back after discovering his role in girlfriend's self inflicted pain caused by him. But overall the movie kept me interested

The film was interesting take on an adult accepting (or not) the sudden onset of deafness. Both characters past lives were not adequately developed. It was not clear whom Lou was speaking to who recommended the deaf community group to Ruben.

A very cliché self-saving, identity-seeking story. Extremely slow and predictable.
