Nice story...

Good movie wirh a great story line but it was about 20 minutes too long.

Hilarious, flash back to younger days!!

I thought it was a good teen movie. I wish there had been better development of the mother's realization of how she was treating her two children. There was recognition of her overreliance on her son but only limited recognition of her mistreatment of her daughter. Of course, there were many formulaic devices in the set up of the family and friendships. The actors were very good, particularly hailee steinfeld, woody harrelson and the actor who played Erwin Kim. The interplay between steinfeld and harrelson and between steinfeld and character Erwin were excellent. Those parts of the movie elevated it.
