Loved the actors and their characters. The film, interspersed with bits of humor, revolves around many of the timely social and political issues regarding immigration, particularly the discrimination against Latinos who enter the U.S. trying to make a living and support their families. From what I know, scenes like immigrants working dangerous jobs for meager pay, the overzealous border patrol agent, and the horrid conditions of where detainees are held are quite accurate, if not understated. The film puts viewers in the shoes of Latino immigrants and the harsh experiences many of them face.

Fun adventure.\rI appreciate the attempt at the cross-cultural storyline linking the USA and Mexico.\rThere are jabs at the various tropes the average person from either country have about the other but this is not a social commentary.\rThe movie is about heartbreak caused by difficult decisions humans sometimes need to make.\rIt was a fun and funny movie that was thoroughly entertaining.

I found the story line very moving. Some of the movie was kind of crazy, more like a comedy like Dumb & Dumber, where I was just like, "this is ridiculous". But, again, overall I found the story moving.
