The CGI was better than I expected. There were too many cheesy lines and facial shots though

Great character development to walk us through Aquamans history, and good 3D viewing. Dialogue was good except for the occasional cheesy lines. The pace of the the movie is great and is very well done. I especially loved the induction of the message to stop polluting the oceans and that the human race is destroying the oceans with garbage and sewage. Thank you for the advance screening passes. We

I think Aquaman was a fun ride! Mamoa is very charismatic. The acting overall was solid. And the visual effects were strong. There were a few plot points that lost me, but i was sitting next to two chatty Kathy’s, so perhaps I missed it due to their constant talking and giggling at inappropriate points. The fight scenes were pretty impressive as well. I’d recommend the movie!

It was a good movie; the story was a bit “blah.” The “villain” Black Manta needed more of a backstory for viewers to understand his allegiance to Atlantis.
