I would recommend this movie with reservations. I thought the bond with the young girl to be authentic and the giant pig adorable. I don't know who the target market is even though I think the direction was good too. I wasn't prepared for how dark parts of this movie became. Though the poster suggests the corporate greed I don't think it would show to the extent it did. Definitely no children.

Very strong cast but superficial, paper thin characters. The good-bad dualism would be better off with an animated film. The story is funny and moving nonetheless. It would be a successful commercial piece for the purpose of animal protection despite all the flaws.

good for tv family movie. a story that would make you think of what may be happening in real life.
