Some of the scenes in the movie were over the top, especially when the finger and the hand of the gangsters were accidentally cut off.

It's a rental

This is not even close to Will Ferrell's best movie...not even in his top twenty. The laughs are sparse and generally the movie is silly. I would not recommend wasting your time on this one.
