A feast for the eyes! I love this movie and can’t wait to see it again and again!

Great follow on story with beloved characters. The scenery of the Crawley estate (Highclere) and the house in the South of France was gorgeous! We see some of the future of the family unfold. Definitely loved the recap for audience members not familiar with the original series on public television! Thank you. If only I were not so close to the screen. Was in the 4th row where the general seating was. “Special guests” were in the choice seats of the main part of the theater. Difficult to relax since my neck started to get stiff affecting the enjoyment of the event.

Wonderful film that doesn't disappoint in the storyline, the production or the acting. Nothing less than what we would expect from Julian Fellows and the marvelous cast. I left feeling like if this is the final Downton episode I could be satisfied with the entire story of the Crawleys and Downton Abbey as a completed work. As with the first film I do feel like the stories told and the ground that is covered could have been expanded into an entire season of the television version - but - we take what we can get!

It was great, but sad to watch. Going to miss Violet’s quips, they were always the highlight of the movies and series.
