Good family movie. Dog tells the tale of 2 Army Ranger veterans, Briggs who has a brain injury played by Channing Tatum and Lulu a K9 dog whose handler committed suicide. Briggs agrees to take Lulu to her handler's funeral at the family's request in an epic road trip so he can get a job recommendation from his former captain. Lulu is traumatized and hard to handle but they become friends and all ends well. Channing directed this film and was inspired by his former dog who recently died.

Great time spent.

More Dog tricks, since Dog people and parents are your audience, and less Channing shirtless. I get it, he is a sex symbol, but this is a man and his dog movie, or about their PTSD, but that was unclear. Appreciate the opportunity!

Somewhere between a road trip and a buddy comedy. I have some knowledge of military/police dogs and I think they did a pretty good job of representing the dog the right way. For the most part they stayed away from some of the easy tropes. It's a nice movie, not quite as much humor as I thought there would be, but a good watch.
