Must admit that the movie name became evident to me at the very end with the church bells ringing. It was a very different and unsettling sound. The movie felt a bit slowed at the beginning, but the human interactions made up for it by allowing the viewer to experience how vulnerable a person is to a drastic change in his life, and also how humbling an experience as simple as meditating in silence becomes. At times, I was a bit frustrated with my inability to hear or interpret sign language just as Ruben was upset with his own experience, but I learned to embrace other alternatives.

it was a disappointment on the small screen of my computer; should have waited until I could use my TV. also, I felt it was too long and didn't approach the cochlear implant limitations until the end.
