It was very suspenseful.

Funny, tense and satisfyingly creepy. Big and small changes from the book. Some warranted for a two hour movie. Other changes unnecessary and disappointing. If you haven't read the book those unnecessary changes might still resonate as a false note or two. The performances were great across the board.

Great movie!

Warner Brothers has exceeding my expectations with its production of films this year. With Wonder Woman, King Kong, Lego Batman and Dunkirk it is no wonder the company took home the box-office crown this summer. It continues with this trend delivering the best horror movie of the past few years. Congrats, because not only do I look forward to the next chapter, I look forward to other WB films.
