The sparks in this movie are the music, sets and fine acting by a talented cast. The story itself, however, is short of luster. A pity that the road bumps set in the course to final union of the two lovers come across as flat and artificial.

Way to Hallmark for my taste. I wish I could have watched it on my TV thru prime rather than on my computer. Great sets, fine acting but the script...

Bad direction, bad writing, too slow are just a few of the bad things about this movie. The leading actress is the only good thing about it. The story would have been fun and enjoyable to watch with a better casting and most importantly if it was directed by an average or good director. The director missed the point and ruined the story.

Very typical love story with 50s, 60s and race as the back story. Charming film that lacked depth.
