There were a few moments where I felt like I had to suspend reality more than I should have during this movie. If the premise of the story was inserted during a different period of American history, some of the nuances of the film wouldn't have gotten in the way of a sweet story.

Not a very unique story but likeable characters make it enjoyable to watch.

I enjoyed the clothing & beauty of the scenes throughout the movie. I am a big fan of romantic movies so I had high hopes but did not go in with any expectations. I felt Sylvie's Love storyline to be lacking creatively and found my interest in the movie diminishing as time went on. In my opinion, Sylvie & her love interest's chemistry on screen wasn't as strong as it should've been to make his departure feel heartbreaking. Disappointing honestly with the relationships between characters, nothing really solid and the emotional aspect was okay. Overall, a decent movie.
